Happy 482nd Birthday!

That's for all you Anabaptists out there. On Jan. 21, 1525, Georg Blaurock asked Felix Manz to baptize him and thus began the Anabaptist (and eventually Mennonite) movement.
I teach Senior High Sunday School and we're studying Anabaptism right now--it's been good to get back into my bible school books and do some research. There's so many books that I want to get back to, now that I don't have 20 different assignments to rush through in a week!

Well, I've been admonished to update this blog, so update I shall. Life has been busy.

I've had a pretty good past couple of months. My sister moved back home from the States. Work has been going really, really well, too. I was helping a student from Eritrea with her resume on Friday and it was just SO interesting to hear her different life experiences. I love the different people that I get to meet through my work.

Now that it's 2007, I'm feeling a bit of pressure to get my plans for the summer/fall together. I'm planning to leave to travel/teach for about a year, but I'm just not sure about the timing of everything. We'll see what this year brings....

Well, blessings to you all!

I love hearing from you, you should blog more often! Besides, how else would I know that my heritage began so many years ago today!

i was so glad to hear about your work -- that's a blessing to enjoy your work so much, and one of my biggest fears in coming back, not being able to find meaningful work!! :-s (talk about trusting, eh?) Are you gonna be around for the summer at least? Hope so! Keep us updated, eh? Love ya.
